The most logical step after the success of the Facesaver Impact Absorbing Comb is the FaceSaver Plus Independent Floating Comb.

This fully adjustable independent floating comb allows a firm contact with the comb of the gun at all times. No matter how the comb is set the gun slides smoothly and comfortably underneath.

Tests show that a gun with no recoil reducer fitted can actually move past the face further than one with a quality recoil reducer on the gun.

The non suppressed gun moves the shoulder backwards further and faster when impacted by the recoil energy at the beginning of the recoil pulse.

The conventional stock shape allows for this rearward movement as far as possible. The comb is in contact with a sensitive part of the face creating a reflex moving the face away from any discomfort or physical damage.
This easing off the comb in varying degrees plays havoc with the ability to shoot with consistent accuracy.
The face must stay in contact with the comb in the same place shot after shot without the subconscious desire to move the face away before or during the pulling of the trigger.
Discomfort through the face not only causes inconsistency by head lifting but also closing or squinting of the eyes, snatching at the trigger, pulling off line of the target and many other reactions to the expected recoil causing missed targets and even trigger freeze.

Head lifting is probably one of the biggest causes of missed targets.

The Facesaver Plus allows the comb to float independently of any shoulder, body or recoil reducer movement.
It works simply by the contact of the face on the comb allowing the gun to slide backwards underneath. Coupled with the Facesaver the exceptional comfort allows the shooter to ride the recoil without any reflex reaction keeping the face snugly on the comb.

The comb can actually be set in ANY position with complete comfort. Even lifting the front of the comb as illustrated is completely comfortable and makes positive face contact easier.

The unit is designed to fit onto the slotted bushes of conventional comb hardware giving the same adjustability side to side and up and down. It is light weight and needs no lubrication. The extremely smooth linear movement is achieved by polymer slides running in specially designed aluminium guides. Interchangeable springs give variable face pressure if required.
